Aquila Corde CD Loaded Bass strings now available

  Synthetic “CD loaded” bass strings manufactured by Aquila Corde are now available again in Cuerdas Pulsadas. We have a first batch that includes all gauges between 0.75 and 2.20, which we were able to pick up by hand during the Vihuela Society meeting in Madrid, thanks to the kindness of Mimmo Peruffo.     This new batch solves the problems of breakage or tuning detected in previous batches, in addition to having a new composition, a new manufacturing method (based on grinding) and also the coloration of the strings. According to Aquila Corde, the sizes and batches affected by these problems are:

• Gauges between 1.15 and 2.20
• Batch BE 11/2016

Our priority is to replace the ropes of those clients who have experienced breakages, always following the indications and agreements reached with Aquila Corde, in addition to our return and customer service policy. In general, the rest of calibers or batches do not have any manufacturing defect, so it is not necessary to replace them. Therefore, if you consider that you need a replacement of strings purchased in Cuerdas Pulsadas with these characteristics, please contact us so that we can manage the replacement as quickly as possible.     We are waiting to receive more strings of all gauges, so if there is any sold out gauge at this time, it will be available again as soon as we receive these new strings. It is also important to highlight that in Cuerdas Pulsadas the remaining stock belonging to the defective lot has been removed, so all the strings that are sent both replacements and new orders, will always belong to batches confirmed by Aquila as valid.
